Chakra & Kundalini chakra books

During the ancient times of tantra, our human body was viewed as the perfect instrument for expressing the consciousness. This perfection of the human body was realized with the help of our psychic centres or the chakras. The Chakras are located in our cerebrospinal system. These chakras are stages on which the interaction between the higher consciousness and the desire takes place. It is believed that when we use these energies of the chakras properly, we tend to reach an enlightened state of mind.
These chakras of our body control certain organs of our body which in turn controls our expression, senses, feelings and this includes our sixth sense as well.  Because of the different experiences and challenges that come across in our lives, we tend to start harnessing negative energies in our body. These negative energies lead to blockage of the chakras. When the chakras are blocked, the energy flow gets affected thereby leading to emotional and physical ailments.
We have to then start working with the chakras to ward off the negative energies and start the flow of positive energy inside our bodies to unblock the chakras and to ease up our life. Every major chakra is linked to the endocrine gland of our body. Each chakra is ruled by specific planet and God or deity.  In astrology, every planet is related to the chakras of our body.
Here are the different chakras of our body and the corresponding endocrine glands:
·         Muladhara Chakra (root): The adrenal medulla (above our kidneys)
·         Swasthisthana (Sacral): the sexual organs
·         Manipura (Solar Plexus): Pancreas
·         Anahata (heart): Thymus
·         Vishuddha (throat): Thyroid
·         Ajna (third eye): Hypothalamus
·         Sahasrara (crown): Pituitary gland
The Kundalini helps in maintaining the wellness and balance of our body by providing us with effective tools in order to remove the blockages from our chakra system.
Thus the Chakras and the kundalini work hand-in-hand to take us on a powerful journey towards healing.
